Just been flicking through the 2.2 details from DG, and I noticed the 2.2s have a mountain logo on the dash, is this illuminated when in difflock ?

I would say a mountain icon is for low box but is probably only activated on other markets!

Apparently it automatically illuminates 38,000 feet above sea level to remind you to switch on your cabin pressurisation system and remind you that the outside air temperature is approximately -70 degress....

Aren't the Tdci dials lifted from the Freelander? I'd suspect it's a warning lamp for Freelander's terrain response, which has no bulb in it in a Defender. Just a guess, but seems most likely. 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

Discovery and Range Rover use a Mountain logo to indicate Low range. Richard

Either a 90, 110 or 130.
