1986 Defender 90 200 Tdi HT Java Black
Poor radio reception
Is this likely to be an ariel issue or is the head unit fubared? You cant polish a turd!
But you can roll it in glitter Smile

Even the standard isn't that great though fully extended. Wonder why with such a wacking great aerial the reception is poor Confused

all i did on mine was tighten up the collar nut that goes through the wing to get a nice tight fit. reception was massively improved. BM52

Fitting my modified CB aerial this weekend - effective length 225 cm - FM 3/4 wave Thumbs Up Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

I think you can test most of these by grabbing/pulling around the aerial and seeing if the interference gets worse (or better). Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

ZE: Is frequency of 100MHz (99.93MHz) where the equivalent of CB is in Germany then?
