I will try to stick to being objective in my observations, looks are subjective so I will leave that to the individual personal taste.

OR
the NL looks like a old fashioned metal storage chest, and will look tatty very quickly whereas the ARB looks like all smart, modern accessory for the out and about off-roader dude (or dude-ette) Eye of the Beholder and all that! Don't they have a kissy emotican here? ![]() |

Not having looked at the Weekender what's the situation then when you no longer have any frozen goods in the freezer compartment ? As it is 10 deg colder in there compared to fridge you will need to keep something in there frozen otherwise it will run more cooling an empty compartment.
Engel do 60 & 80ltr separate fridge/freezer models and i really do not see the point of them. Spent the weekend with others at Mudrut and I have a good idea of what's left to buy for my trip next year...
1. National Luna 40 or 50l fridge/freezer 2. coleman unleaded cooker and some experimenting with either the webasto thermo top or a webasto airtop 2000 or a tentipi and woodburner ... Last edited by bpman on 22nd May 2012 5:17pm. Edited 1 time in total |
