Will do, I am keen to find out if using the extra sides and door are viable for anything more than breezy weather and if they are actually worth putting up. Getting a demo at the dealer before giving the cash, but I can't see us not buying those extras too. Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:

I have an RV2 and would say that with the sides and front on the tent is actally more secure in high winds.
We have had ours up in North Wales during a very bead storm and were quite comfortable inside while smaller 3 and 4 season tents were folding up. 2002 Defender 110 DC |

Yea we have rv4 sides and front panels make it better all round, if staying for a few days, we don't put them up if just one night stay.

I have an RV5 with the delux side panels and front etc. anything longer than one might and it's deffo worth putting it all up. Once you've done it a couple times it only takes a few minutes. I've labeled all my poles and then marked them for set up on level ground. Just takes slight adjustment if ground is uneven and job done!!
Thor. Strong people are harder to kill and generally more useful! |
