It does on my 3 year old Ifor Williams, I had a leaflet explaining so when I bought it. Prefer un-braked trailers if you can get away with less load carrying capacity, brakes on trailers are a pain in the ass to maintain

My boat trailer has four wheels so four of the damn things and one needs attention before I can use it again, I think it was jammed on and binding when I towed last Whacking the hub with a hammer helped but it's still binding Never had any problem with caravan brakes though...
