Appreciate that this is an old thread but I recently called three local companies, all told me they won't touch defenders! Said they would only do it if I remove the glass and deliver it to them Confused > 110 XS Double Cab

it is fiddly but 'do-able' yourself, especially when the price of window tint from Haulfrauds is so cheap.

- just don't expect a perfect result & be prepared for more internal reflections! Richard

Amazed that so called professional companies don't want to get involved in what would appear to be one of the easiest vehicles??
Surely far harder to cover multi curved windows??

I paid £250 for a pro to do it a couple of years back.
Well worth paying as it's such a good job.
Only bit he didn't want to touch was the Alpine windows and tbh you don't even notice they haven't been done.
Reason for doing it was to keep the back cool for our dog to get into on hot days and it's worked superbly.
Also the privacy is good too.
Right now though we're tempted to remove it from the rear side doors as my boys find it a bit dark sometimes sitting in the middle row.

Did the rear window of my 110 myself and was easy enough with stuff from Halfords, take your time and it's simple enough. Converted the rear of my 110 to a utility wagon with 88" sides, those with the L322 seats mean there's no way to see in the back now so haven't done (and don't want to) do the second row windows.

The glass is trivial enough to remove - at least on manual windows, haven't seen inside of electric ones. Ed
