Looks like SSE are having a clearout!
Loads of Defenders on ebay at the moment from SSE, seem mainly to be in Scotland and the New Forest areas.

I thought this one would appeal the 130 fetishists (I may have even driven this one, the reg is familiar)

This one caught my eye as it was the first Defender to be re-branded in the "new" scheme, now stripped off.

When I saw it in 2007 -

Was about 4 bays I think, they did all their own maintenance "back in the day".

Exactamundo! Its kinda weird seeing these up for sale and having seen bits of their history. If only someone had done the same for my IIA.

Love the MASSIVE rear steps Shocked

I think that's a realistic price for a 55 reg 121,000 miler with a respray and kit and another 100,000 left in her. Some of the dealers prices are about 4K over what they should be Rolling Eyes It's either that or a 100,000 mile Tdi. Hard use probably but tempting if i had the money Whistle

Health and safety mate. They are regularly ripped off and replaced as well.

If I had a bit of spare cash I could go for one but don't really have any use for one. I'd end up just putting the winch etc on my 110 anyway and selling on the rest, if I got one with a leccy winch that is.

They are running about in 60 and 61 reg Defenders now...

Now if you found me one from the 1960s or 70s, then I would seriously sit up! In fact I know someone after a genuine ex SEB series Landrover if any turn up...
