Barn farm is good if you want to be situated literaly on the air field, you can access the show through a gate in the fence, or even watch show from campsite, it is however very busy, quite expensive imo and only has portaloos no shower facilities.
Despite this i will be there again this year Kev |

Well we had an excellent weekend caravanning at Barn Farm campsite during Waddington Airsow last weekend. You get such an excellent view of the aeroplanes from the comfort of your caravan, in fact next year we might not even bother going into the show itself, may as well just sit by the caravan with beer/tea/sandwich in hand.
Heres a couple of photos of the caravan site, the first one taken from the shuttle bus inside the airfield, and the second one showing my caravan.. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge I'll not bore you with endless photos of the aircraft, but the following photos were all taken whilst sat by the side of my caravan... Apologies to vulcanfreak, I forgot all about coming over to see you Shame that XH558 couldnt be there! Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |
