No. It is synthetic. Needs to be mineral based to FC spec. Try Castrol Actevo which is to FC spec. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

bit of a post regards the engine tap, i have been adding 2 stroke for the last four fill ups and i have noticed no real difference.unfortunately i think its got worse really noticeable as soon as the engine has warmed up i think a trip to the dealers is needed just hope its just a tuning issue. As soon as funds permit i will be getting a alive remap.

mine's a rattler too on and off. Many posts suggest injector timing being slightly out but it doesn't bother me anymore. I'd turn the radio up but the standard audio is so awful I'd rather listen to the rattle ! Smile

Sorry to hear this Boxer.

My jam jar runs much quieter with 2SO added to Sainsbury's diesel.

Cheers,
Paul

yes its a bit disappointing paul but i just hope its just as rossy say injector timing going to give ripon land rover a ring in the morning and see when they can take a look.I am getting a bit paranoid with it as my mate has a 2010 xs station wagon with only 9000 mile on the clock and he has had 2 seals go on the transfer box,e.g.r valve fell apart also steering box replaced now the clutch has been diagnosed as u/s so i am now expecting the worse all the time.
