No. It is synthetic. Needs to be mineral based to FC spec. Try Castrol Actevo which is to FC spec. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

mine's a rattler too on and off. Many posts suggest injector timing being slightly out but it doesn't bother me anymore. I'd turn the radio up but the standard audio is so awful I'd rather listen to the rattle !

yes its a bit disappointing paul but i just hope its just as rossy say injector timing going to give ripon land rover a ring in the morning and see when they can take a look.I am getting a bit paranoid with it as my mate has a 2010 xs station wagon with only 9000 mile on the clock and he has had 2 seals go on the transfer box,e.g.r valve fell apart also steering box replaced now the clutch has been diagnosed as u/s so i am now expecting the worse all the time.
