England 2009 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 SVX Station Wagon Santorini Black
Corrosion Protection..
Hello everyone.. Thumbs Up

Im new to Land Rover ownership...Iv got a SVX hard top.
Im very happy with it, as it's a good... go anywhere classless 4x4 without the chelsea tractor mummy taking kids to school image.
Being a tradesman and not affaid to get my hands dirty, I had to take a look under the motor.

Well.......where is all the rust proofing.??

I cant believe a hardcore 4x4......which retails at 30 grand....with all the rust prevention of a builders wheel barrow. Mad Mad

After web searches for a few evening I found a company local to me in St.Albans..Hertforshire.
I contacted the guy by the name of Michael and the business is Rustmaster.

He was great on the email..quick response and really helpful...no big sell
I booked my Defender in.....it was done yesterday and I picked it up today.
Im really pleased with it and I dont say that lightly
The chassis...doors...bonnet and A-pillars are injected with a clear wax
The complete underneath and inside wheel arches are sprayed in a hard black wax.

The job is professional and none of that gunk has found its way onto the seats or carpet (sorry it has carpet Embarassed)

This has all been done for a fair price...Michael will also drop you anywhere local and pick-up too

If you want to look after your vehicle...have it done. Thumbs Up

Regards Jonathan

Good work. Rustmaster have a good reputation.

I need to do some work on mine before I have the underneath coated - I don't really want to be scraping waxoyl away every time I need to change or adjust something. However, it's one of those things that keeps gnawing away at me. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS

I know it's a fair drive for both of you but JR Classics in Doncaster are good and quite abit less then the £500 quoted, Joe has done our last two Defenders. 2.4 90 XS
1968 1/32 scale Britains 109 Pick up.
