'Ardcase. Very happy with it. As it covers/encloses all three pedals simutaneously, think it is better than a clutchclaw. You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Got a clutch claw on the 90 and had it for about 6 or so years. The door has been forced twice but luckerly not had it taken yet.

Adrenalin4x4 pedal lock made of tougher stainless steel, can't drill out lock (well you can but it takes two hours It is designed to just spin....don't lose the keys ), encloses all the pedals so cannot be driven away (you can drive a car without a clutch and brake of course!) or pedals chopped off leaving stumps to drive on bla bla
This is pretty impregnable but bulky so I use it occasionally if it is parked up for any decent length of time. When I leave the car for short periods in a relatively safe place I use a steering lock as it's quick to put on and off Steering locks = ease of use but not very secure. Pedal locks = bulky and longer to fit but would take someone hours or alot of noise and time trying to angle grind it off. A convenient and very effective way to prevent theft is to disable the engine manually or electronically with the flick of a hidden switch! Used to have hidden flick cut off switch on the fuel pump of my Jag, ideal  Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

I bought the clutch claw on the basis that the bigger models need somwhere to go in the car when you are driving it, and a large loose bit of heavy metal in an emergency stop needs strapping down, otherwise it's a killing machine.
If you've ever been in a crash at speed you too will understand what I mean. Even a cassette tape can inflict injury (back in the day of cassette tapes) 2016 D4 HSE 1998 110 TUM HS FFR Hard Top XD WOLF 1982 Series 3 SWB Petrol |

James at adrenalin is a complete nightmare to contact and get any service.. there's a market out there for his products .. someone will pick those products up and make a killing alternatives.. ardcase, clutch claw, diskloc and mudstuff do a hydralic clutch lock ... all worth a punt some alarms, immobilisers and trackers have bump sensors and the sophisticated ones have very sensitive movement sensors that will detect lifting and jacking. one day someone will come up with a propshaft lock there's lots of kit out there, just get some on your truck |

Thanks to all that have responded to my post. Did not think it would get a bit heated , or involve The Kennel Club . I agree if they want it bad enough they will take it, no matter what you do, even to using a Hiab crane , smash the side windows , chain through and lift it aboard , as they did with a friends Fourtrak, and no one made a report to the BiB., they told the only person inquiring it was sold for scrap !!!!. Well it was old !!!!, but perfect. Disturbingly my local Blunket plod has advised to let them take it , that’s what you pay insurance for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Please do not start on “Plunkets”, we know most of them are a waste of time and , yes some do try to be good at there job.
Okay it seems the way to go is the “ Ardcase” or the “Safe T Pedal Lock” as the “Adrenalin” Pedal lock seems to unavailable . Though how you store these items when not in use seems to be a problem. And of course a 12 gauge , backed up with canine assistance taught not to take tit bits !!! Many years ago a Game Keeper friend had one of these “Alarm Mines” fitted to his Series 2 Land Rover, press the clutch down and it triggered via a wire/pull pin, it fired in to the nether regions of the driver., it used a blank 12 gauge cartridge .
