[For Sale] SOLD SOLD SOLD 200tdi County Station Wagon
For sale. Time to move on my 200tdi CSW. I have owned this vehicle since 2004 and it has been a reliable truck during this time.Average mileage each year has been under 3k and used as a second (or third!) car.

Serviced by LR independant annually since purchase, cam belt changed on a five year cycle regardless of mileage. Rear crossmember replaced in 2015. Dinitrol applied each year (wax undercoat not underseal) and chassis injected.

Configured as a five seater at the moment and has front seats (set of three) fitted in the second row position giving real leg room and relative comfort to all passengers.

Paintwork (unusual red) best described as flat but shines well with effort. Doors sensibly repaired over the years and are sound for a few more years to come. Doors wax treated internally injected where necessary to hold the condition.

Mileage now at 185k and just (end August) mot'd for another year.

The only reason for selling this is my new 110 usw was purchased to replace our freelander 2 and I cant (no really) justify 2 110's on the drive.

Looking for £4250 ono. Based in Essex (near Chelmsford) so please PM for more details if interested. Not advertised anywhere at the moment, will see if there is any interest here first

By the way this is a genuine 200tdi CSW Defender perhaps one of the first at the tail end of 1990

Thanks both. Too much hype at the moment regarding Defenders, I would sooner sell to someone who genuinely is looking for a sound base vehicle to start with for a realistic price if I can.

That looks very tempting at that price..... hard pushed to find a sensibly priced Defender at the moment! Does is want or need anything doing in the short term?

Hi
As far as I am concerned nothing wanted or anything on watch at the moment. Took it out for a run this afternoon with four adults on board and it pulled like a train. I am still convincing myself It has to go!

The truth is there was no long term plan to sell it. Rather I decided to out the hateful Freelander 2hse and find a Defender (puma) as the main car which I will hang onto for as long as I can. The 200tdi has been serviced and looked after as ever and it was only after the MOT this August I found my USW meaning it has to move on.

Its not perfect but it is solid and reliable. I think the price is fair for the age and condition and yes I will probably regret letting it go....... Big Cry

I would say always room for one more but sadly that's not the case. If I had more room it would be at the back of a barn. I know I am going to regret letting this go....... Crying or Very sad
