An honest mistake....
A bloke being led out by a nurse after coming around from anaesthetic, was told by the nurse that his wife was sitting around the corner. Turning the corner with the nurse our hero promptly kisses the wrong one-owing to the effects of the anaesthetic you understand. Don't know who was most surprised-the real wife, the kissed "much younger female",the aforementioned "much younger female's" mother, the nurse or the cleaner.
Anyway anaesthetic deadens a lot of things including one's hearing-or so I'm told.
Been driven home in the Defender by the "unkissed" real wife was not the frosty experience one would expect-or so I am told.Coming in and out of effects of the anaesthetic made the journey almost pleasant. It definately numbs the sound of wifey gearchanges and any adverse comments that could eminate from the aforementioned "unkissed real" wife-or so I'm told.
Just aswell there was anaesthetic involved or it could have been a 40 mile walk home from the hospital-or so I'm told.
Everyone makes mistakes-or so I'm told. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
