Portugal 2010 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 DCPU Keswick Green
CV Joint Leak
JLR Portugal are having a campain till 29th Feb, for a free check on all Land Rovers.
25 checks, from leaks to levels...

Took the car yesterday and was supposed to get it today. But just got a call from the dealer telling me that I have a leak on the front diff, right wheel, probably on the/or near the CV Joint Sad ... It will be fixed, under warranty, they told me... It's not 2 years old and it has only 20750km on the clock...

Anyone experienced this ?

I dont' do heavy off roading, but like to do it regularly... and I have fitted some HD steering bars and HD springs at the front... Could this cause premature wear on material to lead to this leak? Regards

Is it actaully a leak or just some smear of grease close to the seal lip? Unlikely HD bits are affecting the swivels. Puma 110" SW

They told me that there was a leak...don't know exaclty of what... But they told me that they're going to disassemble something, to chek what was needed to fix it ... Won't have the car till Monday or tuesday ... Sad Regards
