Got BFG ATs on my Defender and Range Rover. Both bought years apart. Tread pattern the same.
Check speed rating (letter at end) as well as tyre dimensions the same |

Once you have the tyres you want make sure they fit them with the white writing inside not facing out.

Got mine locally. Local tyre place beat best price I could find online by over £50 for a set of four.

Why? Click image to enlarge Maybe they don't look good if you polish them everyday. Roel 1984 90 2.5 na Diesel - RR V8 (1994-2001) 1997 Camel Trophy Discovery 300TDI (2001-2009) 2005 G4 Discovery III 4.4 V8 (2008-2018) It's gone but it still hurts. 2003 90 Td5 (2009-now) |

Just don't do what my original tyre Muppet did which was put them on white lettering out on the front right, but not front left, then both same direction on the back
Also make sure they can balance them. When I collected my 110 when swapping from my Mud tyers to AT2's they hadn't balanced them which made it very bad to drive. So next day having taken a morning off to get it sorted, I was understandably very peed off when I turned up to get them re balanced and was told, oh yeah it wont fit on our machine. This was after they had jacked it up and removed both front wheels I also subsequently found out that when they changed the spare they stuck it back on the bonnet and tightened it up with a windy gun so now it leaks and rattles Round to a different fitter, couldn't be more friendly and helpful, balanced both front tyers for £17 IRRC. I know where I will be going in the future! |
