Can't complain, she is the one who wants me to buy a 90 to run along side the 110 so she can drive it - she finds the 110 a bit of a handful

Could very well be as I would prefer a 2.4 but I do have my eye on a 2.2 demo (in Keswick green) Bob 2015 Jaguar XE240 R Sport - goes like ....... !! 2013 Defender 90 CSW - sold 2009 Defender 110 Double Cab - sold 2001 TD5 90 CSW - offroad project - sold to a forum member 2011 Porsche Boxster - for the sunny days ! |

Nice at least you have some more local dealers near you Taunton, Yeovil and Matfords. The latter is where mine came from |

I use Yeovil, 100 metres from the office and they are always helpful and don't mind me crawling under the Defenders in the showroom to check something I am not sure of

I too have to sing the praises of my wife. She has been in Scouting for over 30 years now and in her previous life owned a SII and III for towing a caravan when her lads were young.
Despite encouraging me to dispose of my 300tdi Disco when we first met, (she loved driving it but it spun a cam follower which in turn stopped the cam shaft dead, that was a £1500 tob end rebuild, but I think the oil galleries were not cleared out so 12 months later when no7 tappit would not screw down any further an autopsy showed it had eaten 3 lobes off the brand new cam in 10K we decided to fix and sell), and buying a new car instead. However as I have explained before she first let me buy back my 80" then after RTVing it last year relented and let me ditch the car for my luvverly 110 XS. In which she has incidentally gone off to work in this very evening. Luv her lots. |

My wife's been membership secretary for two national LR clubs and we're regional reps for another at the moment. She also helps run the LR section at the annual Ardingly Vintage and Classic Vehicle Show.
