Spring Part Numbers: Which position?
I have been kindly given a set of brand new springs for the 90, and I have the part numbers but I'm unsure of what corner to put them on.

I've looked on various sites and they are listed as follows:

Britpart
NRC 9448 - Coil Spring Front 110 H/D RH
Coil Spring Rear 90 RH

NRC 9449 - Coil Spring Front 110 H/D LH
Coil Spring Rear 90 LH

So, the same spring on a 90 is also a Heavy Duty spring on the 110?

The question is, do you put the 110 Front HD springs on the front of the 90 (as that's where all the weight is) or on the rear?

I find it odd that the same spring is a front and rear AND 'handed'. Am I getting confused for no reason? 2016 D4 HSE

HD 110 front springs and standard 90 rear springs are the same item [225 lbs rated
Yes they are handed ... not that it makes a great difference lol

You can fit them to the front of a 90 cos guess what? ... HD 90 front springs are the same item too Thumbs Up ] Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant.

How many springs have you been given?

The thing to bear in mind is that if you fit these springs to the front they will be HD (bit of lift and firmer ride) and on the rear they will be standard duty. So the next question is what other springs are you fitting with them? John

I have 2 of each.

Does that mean they are incompatible with each other? 2016 D4 HSE

Fitting HD fronts and standard rears is the usual arrangement if you have a winch on the front, to offset the extra weight. If you don't have one then yes, for all practical purposes, they're incompatible. Darren
