i'll be there
although it is the closest show for me it always feels the most relaxed. the off road course looks a bit different to the £10 drive around that it used to be, though |

I'll be there, whether with my local club or with C4H. The off roading looks to be a bit "regimented" this time, probably a sign of the times this way they can keep an eye on the eejits that spoil it for everybody else and keep the course moving. 'tis a tadge on the expensive side though for a guided bumble through the park, it's not as if it has been too taxing on previous years on the 'normal' route

I'll agree, 'tis a shame to miss out when there's a show on your doorstep, they're usually miles away. Now people can find out what it's like to live in a black hole for entertainment

several years ago a driver on the intermediate course managed to get his vehicle lodged sideway in a gate at the bottom of a steep slope and it caused a 3 hour hold up.
perhaps the LR Experience marshalls are wanting a few less all gear know idea types on the course? |

I remember that!, the Experience guys had got past the novelty stage of watching numpties by then and were just praying for the day to end. It was a good sort steep slope to the gate though along with a photographer to catch the look of horror on the passengers on the way down, if they had their eyes open

hi keith,
i don't mind taking the puma round, you are more than welcome to ride shotgun if you want? will they want the vehicle to pass scruteneering though? (i've got no propper recovery point) if i don't have to take the family then i will bring the trusty 300 along. She has been around the course lots of times. |
