Puma ALARM trigger
Does the Puma alarm has the possibility to be triggered while disarmed? Some sort of panic button which can be wired in? To explain; maybe an idea for other people with a house alarm system: I have a wireless / wired house alarm. Our cars have module build in when parked in the wireless range of the house alarm and the car alarm is triggered the house alarm goes off and sends us mail/sms and stores pictures of the cameras. This module has also an output, which can trigger the car alarm when the house alarm goes off (IF the car alarm is armed, is the easy way) If I could wire this output to a “panic” function on the defender alarm unit this could set of the car alarm, stop the engine and leave the car useless the moment it leaves the house alarm area even when the alarm is disarmed. Before anyone points out this would not allow me to drive away myself, as it triggers the defender alarm each time I leave the area, the output can be routed over a hidden switch or something. So when the defender is parked during the week I enable the trigger and when driving away I switch it off. Anybody more info on the alarm module? PM seems best I guess. Appreciated! |
