just measured the tent.
it's 1.2m x 1.2m, when hinged open becoming 1.2 x 2.4 (7'10"). i'm no expert, but i think the hinged length always remains the same, only they can be wider 1.4 & 1.6m al. |

Yep, hinged length stays the same, it is just the width that changes.

Had one just like this. I'm 5'9" ish and the wifes 5'6" and we had loads of room. I think its about the best tent we have ever had, very comfy
