where is the best place to get some stainless steel nuts and bolts from for the doors etc

Bolts are not just bolts.

Likewise not all stainless is rust resistant

Is it a bolt or a machine screw? Socket head, carriage bolt, hex head etc.

Then there is the strength 5.8, 8.8, and 10.9.

Then there is the finish BZP, japaned, anodised.

Material Steel/nylon/brass etc

Stainless can be A2 or A4


Yes prices will vary, just make sure you pick the right bolt for the right application.

The shear strength of a correctly sized bolt will be higher then the same diameter machine screw etc

Thanks Leeds most helpfull ,are any of the dealers mentioned in the replys a better quality one to go for the last thing want is to change all these just to find tham rust or discolour.

We have some of the Nakatanenga kits in stock. They have the original style heads on. Also come with anti corrosion paste.

I have no experience of any other stainless steel kits done by other suppliers so can not comment on them.
