Wales 2010 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Santorini Black
I'm using Stratstone Land Rover - Penarth Road - Cardiff.. They didn't supply the vehicle - don't laugh but that came as an ex-demo from Stratstone of Mayfair London via Stratstone Jaguar Cardiff ( had a work colleague who is a Jaguar fan + + + who mentioned my need to the MD ). The salesmen at Stratstone Land Rover ARE NOT Defender oriented and were more interested in selling a Defender/Range Rover than listening to me. Anyway were really miffed when they found out how I got my Defender much to the amusement of the service team who much prefer working on Defenders. Anyway, so far no complaints and good service. Who pays for warranty work, do they claim it back off LR!

There seems to be a lot of inconsistency between what dealers will do and not do and what parts they are prepared to replace under warranty. E.G some have their bumpers, steps and wing mirrors arms replaced with no question when rusty, whilst other dealers say it's not part of the main body of the vehicle so not under warranty.

Hi bpman - check Dealership Feedback group. Apparently Bristol dealership is similar. Closer to you and saves the 7 Bridge toll. LANDYWATCH

What about Westovers at Old Sarum (previously Ottons I believe). I had several disappointments with Westovers at Christchurch but of late they appear to have had an attitude transplant and recent experiences of Westovers have been very good. May be the same perhaps at Old Sarum.
Only 10 minutes away from you too! No harm popping in and seeing how the land lies surely. Question If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
