Yes, this is the stuff you want as it does stay flexible where not exposed Old style window rubbers shrink a bit under sunlight (and can crack eventually!) and the whole frame can flex depending on the car and application so this is why using the stuff that doesn't dry out is what to use rather than rock hard cement glues used in modern motors which you need as the window is a structural part of most modern vehicles
