Adding heated seats...help please
Ok...
So I have put a couple of 2012 XS Seats in my 2010 Puma HT.
they are heated and the loom is under the squab.
I have two genuine LR Heated Seat Switches.

Can anyone advise how I go about hooking these up?

All advice welcomed Very Happy

Thanks

Thanks Gum,

Yes, we had designed a totally plug and play loom for hooking genuine seats to genuine switches.

It's not cheap at £120 delivered but features the correct plugs and clips for the under seat connection, the correct plugs for the window switches and all other connections are 'plug and play' with no crimping / soldering etc required.

Is yours a 2.4 or 2.2 ?

Heated seats with the Puma a/c, are the 2 fitments I use most, & have never regretted buying. Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

You can do it cheaper, it all depends if you want it to look like its factory fitted ....

Our kit has been manufactured to precisely fit the Puma:

Fitting couldn't be easier, plug in the two seat switches (supplied in kit)
Remove plug from rear of hazard switch and plug it into our loom
Plug our loom into rear of hazard switch
Run cable protected in convoluted sleeving under carpet, through new hole in gear box cover (we supply grommet)
and through existing grommet into under seat box drivers side.
Slot our prewired, fused relays onto factory position, attach earth to factory position, slip live under factory position connection.
Bring drivers side seat connector through factory hole, we supply grommet and clip to secure socket
Repeat for passenger side.
No soldering, no scotch locks, all plug and play

Hi Clemmo,

We've built the kit for the 2.4, the 2.2 has a different layout under the drivers seat and I haven't got around to measuring for that one yet.
