Series III owner need help.
Not strictly Defender but almost !

Guy who works for me is rebuilding a Series III. It has parabolic springs front and rear and needs new bushes.
Fronts are fine, he took the springs to Devon4x4 and they supplied new bushes however the rears are not a standard size.
Devon tried all their suppliers, including Britpart and Bearmach without success. He has contacted Rocky Mountain but still no joy.
RM have seen the size before but have no idea if the people looking for the bushes ever found a source.

The size is Outside dia 35.3 MM, Inside Dia 14mm and Length 63.4mm.

Does anybody have any names of suppliers that he can try before resorting to getting them specially made ?

Google fails to locate anything of this size.

Thanks in advance

I can confirm bushes for RM parabolics is a common issue.... friends of mine asked RM themselves to get new ones.

If the standard bushes are too small, then could you not get a spacer tube made to fit over a standard bush?

Good idea Thumbs Up

Standards are too small so this may work.

Another option is to get new springs, seems a shame as the springs are perfect just the bushes that are shot.

He also keeps telling me that I don't pay him a decent salary so he can't afford new springs Rolling with laughter
