Wanted dixon bate drop hitch
Hi All

I currently have the starndard LR adjustable height towbar on my TD5 110

I am looking for a 2nd hand Dixon Bate adjustable height towbar to replace it with.

I am curiuos also if I have to remove the LR drop plate and braces or will the actual carrier bolt onto the LR plate.

As I am hoping to recommision my old Sankey as well as use 50mm balls I am also interested if anyone has an old tow hitch plates for sale too. obviously I will need one drilled for the NATO jaw as well as on for the 50mm ball. (though I recall buying a plate 20 years ago with drillings for both hooks on it from PRB services in Leeds)

I am in the Chilterns if one is available though I also am a Yorkshire LRSOC member if anyone in the North has one too.

Megatoad.

You do need to replace everything.
I bought one from my main dealer four years ago for about £95
Worth checking the price today.....

I have a genuine towbar kit from a Puma. Took it off when I went down the NAS route. Has been in garage since 2008 so would have to dig it all out if you are interested. £40 collected. You would need to check compatability with Td5 and yes it is the slider and pin type

Hi Gingez

Thanks for your reply, however I have just managed to source one from another forum member.

Cheers.

However I am still looking for a spare sliding plate if anyone has them.

The standard slider has four holes which will take a 50mm ball in either pair of holes or a NATO hitch using all four. Cool John
