Diesel knock / injector timing?
My 2010 MY 90 has developed the Puma knock when luke warm and under load (it doesn't do it when cold or up to running temp).

It occurs between 2000 and 2700 rpm and after reading several other similar threads over the last few weeks i've noted that only Shell and BP premium diesels have any noticable effect on the rattle (it's quieter but still audible).

Has anyone taken this issue to the dealers and have had a satisfactory solution? And is the injector timing the cause of the problem or the answer? "If it ain't sideways, you just ain't tryin'!

Just had same thing fixed at 12k service. Reprogrammed injectors and pilot correction learn was redone. Seems to have fixed the problem. Thumbs Up D300 HSE 110

Thanks for that. A nice bit of ammo for me to fire at the stealer when it goes in. "If it ain't sideways, you just ain't tryin'!
