Orange / Silver wire
Hi,

I've found an unconnected wire in the under-dash fuse box area of my Puma. It's orange with a silver tracer and has a stripped end just ready to short to something.

Just wondering if anyone can tell me what it's supposed to connect to?

It comes from the 10AS module and is not needed ,but its in the loom as standard.

It's the alarm aerial wire, as Pete says - 10AS = alarm unit on Defender

Thank you for that - sorry I didn't find the past post on the subject first. No cause for alarm then (boom! boom! Confused ) as I don't even have an alarm or a remote keyfob.
