I watched this video a while back and it did help in helping me decide which apps to get - but at 69p each it doesn't really matter if you don't choose so well. I have the following:

Spyglass
Google EArth
Trails (Felix Laroux?)
iTorch
Traffic View by trafficmaster
Good Pub Guide
Outdoor Navigation by gpstuner
EveryTrail Pro

Could be worse you could have a BlackBerry! Rubbish selection of apps and those that they do have are silly money, Outdoor gps app £19.99, Sat nav the cheapest is £60 and there is a wall paper that shows you the time in the background with a fancy looking clock for £500!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stupid!

I have memory map free app and bought 1;50k maps - from memory 50,000 sq/km for £20.

Phone works great as a GPS with OS maps, great for laning.
