In my area it is normal to have -3, -6 C and my fatherl in love live closer to Cortina, into the Alps and last years we got -22 C......
Yes I used the entreq fitting kit (daily drivers one). Soon I'll post same photos Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition IID Pro MV License |

Same here, and that was in Lancashire. A year ago it was -18 here at 7pm , and in the morning the outside gauage said it had been down to -21. Amazing really.
Still, didn't have any starting issues though. |

No touch areas, the heater is positioned completely "over" the crossmember, the entreq fuel cooler guard is fixed under (see the nut insert on crossmember), and it protects very well the heater from splash and dirt....... Daniele, I guess for driving though you have a cap for the exhaust?
I love your set up and I know with your attention to detail it will be exactly right, but for me, for driving offroad there is no way I would put one under there. |

I had a Webasto on a TD5 90 i had,,
Excellent bit of kit,, even had the remote control set up,, took 10 mins or so , was even connected to a hot water shower system Tried to justify the set up on the Puma,, but does not get the use to warrant the cost !! The only cons is the lower position.... but I use my car for light off-rad The pros are the very short water pipes length so you have a very high heater efficiency and the accessibility for the future maintenance/checking operation. For the fuel tank accessibility I have done a "hole" directly on the rear floor and covered by a "strong" 3mm aluminium plate screwed with rivet nut inserts and foam gasket the ending results is similar to this one....
