Hi, I have a set of these on my 57 plate Defender and have no problems with them. Went to Lockgair at the weekend for some serious off road activity and she was a dream.
I think the Mach 5's have a deeper dish (not sure of the technical term) than these as I had them on my last Defender with exactly the same tyre and size on and they did stick out a lot further. No problems with clearence or indeed the gearing. Took a sat nav with me and the speedo is fairly accurate reading 73 at 70 on the sat nav. Also, she topped out on the way home in 6th gear hitting the rev limiter at 85ish (on a private stretch of land of course ) Can someone let me know how to post pics on here as I have some of her being used in anger Russell. |

Yep No Problem
Thanks Japseroony The technical term for the 'deeper dish' is the 'off set' |

Rev limiter I do believe - its a bit like being rocked to sleep but no, 85/86 is what the speedo said and the sat nav agreed all bar a couple of MPH!!!! Thanks Andrew, deeper dish it is from now on Can someone let me know how to get some pics on here please as I have some of the Defender in action? |

In a non-homophobic way I have to agree with the ‘Gay’ comment, but then again ‘Crap’ might have been more PC.

Jasperoony,
Like the pics - are you running a standard suspension set up or do you have a lift? I'm after a set of ATs or MTs but don't want any suspension modifications as i can just squeeze into the local car parks as it is now |

Thanks, she is just on standard suspension and I have to say that she went where most of the modified Defenders would not go over the weekend - probably due to the traction control mind, but their lift kits & BIG tyres & lockers did very little for them and mine just pulled its way through |
