Thanks a lot for all the help.

Well 9.5 XP looks a little bit expensive here in Chile (almost US$2,000 Shocked compared the US$1,000 in USA)

So, looks like Tabor will be a good decisión (if it si reliable) any experience with it?

Anyway, pretty nice Husky winch Laughing Laughing Laughing

The XP is pricey, but excellent, but will be overkill for what you want. Tabor also do a 12k too if you fancy some extra grunt. Both available from Devon 4x4. About £530-580. As they are made by Warn in the same factory using Warn parts, they should be equally as reliable and well built. Look after it well, keep the parts clean and keep the wire dirt free and you should not have any problems.
I cant honestly imagine Warn selling these if the quality was below par, especially with people knowing who they are made by. There will be a couple of slightly different parts (thinner walls etc) to reduce some costs, but it does not have the Warn label on it, which means you will automatically get a substantially reduced price. Its a bit like many other products. Its a bit like the Tudor and Rolex scenario.

One other thought will be availabilty. I have just noticed where you live. You will want to do some looking around first to check what is available to you. You might also want to look at shipping costs, as a winch is a very heavy item that will cost quite a lot to ship and insure.

Thinking of the price difference, could you not buy one in the USA and have it shipped straight to you? That way you could afford a Warn.

Best of luck

The 'winch' had just done a hard working run and consumed alot of water after the run and the girlies just let go!. The boys need something to pee on.

Can be high maintenance esp now girls are in season boys just want to f**k.

Foz they do like to coil up under the bumper and sleep or destroy things!

Thanks for the advice a Tabor will be,

I allways compare the prices here with the prices of import from USA. Some times is cheaper here and others are cheap in USA. In this case the problem will be the price (I will need a custom agent to clear the customs) and the weight that not allow use some cheap couriers or my PO box in USA.

We will see. At least i have almost clear what I need.

Cheers Eduardo
