| Yep the lane keeping is very annoying, can't think LR ever tested it on single track roads, steers you right, then realises you are going to hit hedge on right and steers you left. Bloody nightmare |

No we've not been to JLR, wouldn't hold much hope of the 'fault' being found

We've had the same on many occasions.
We now turn on the ignition/car (eg press start without foot on brake) let everything whilst putting belts on etc. Then start the car.

Well, you'd hope so or there'll be a lot of warranty claims !!
Seems to have done no harm to mine. had to fold/unfold them to get the mechanism to re=engage. Think that's mention in the manual |

You need to manually fold the mirrors in before you lock it:
