DIY i think is the way to go. i wasn't aware they where doing this just got told when it arrived back.

Does waxoyl actually dry completely hard or is it just a tacky finish?

They have sprayed under front and rear arches. it has only sprayed up the back though. imagine around the filler cap.

Hi Guys

Defender just back from its first service with Dealer. they have addressed peeling paint under wheel arches by spraying it with waxoyl to stop stone chips etc.
