No. Having a trailer on is a possible cause of a blown brake light fuse.... which in turn does... Obviously you are skeptical but it's true.

I know it sounds silly but have you checked the brake light fuse? This will cause rev holding in gear change and as you've had a trailer connected is worth a look.
