That is a 2.2 and the vacuum pump is at the rear right side if the engine.
I would suspect a failed turbo hose post intercooler, before inlet manifold.

I'd recon its blew a piston Crying or Very sad

I’m hoping not, it didn’t sound terrible/clattery.

It’s definitely engine oil though.
