Hi, slight thread drift on this but I have had exactly the same problem but with a soft LR A bar and the insurer refuses to cover it. Somewhat ironically it has a Warn winch which they have no issues ...

Hi Stephen

Have fitted a Brodit to my Tdci and it is very good. That said it mounts in a different way to how it seems to in a Tdi.
