So that trun the key and use a jump lead or something to the starter?
I used to start old tractor with a screen driver across the starter motor. Not sure if that's similar wlto ... |

I'd second the ignition barrel. Replace with a genuine Land Rover one.....

We have managed to tow it on to a trailer so at least she moves now
