It’ll be a blocked oil cooler, the oil gets hot and the sensor cuts the power this doesn’t throw a mil light and doesn’t read on the water thermostat so temp looks normal.

I took my DPF off and had it cleaned professionally cost £300 that was a year ago no issues and the DPF light has not come on since.

Just an update, you were spot on found corroded plug under drivers seat cleaned plug and it’s been fine for several hundred miles.

Had the Dpf cleaned but It could still be affecting air flow as I’ve read cleaning is a temporary fix, turbo was a new Garrett last August.

Update, took off inlet manifold clean as a bell, I’ve replaced all sensors with genuine also new EGR valve. I’m Still getting EML light but it happens in cycles if when I start it EML is not on it ...

That’s my next port of call, I removed the inlet manifold it was clear of any soot.

I will remove the throttle body in the week and have a look, another guy on the forum removed his and it was caked up with soot.

The code is P0101 air flow to low. But can’t understand why one day it runs perfect and another it doesn’t until you restart the engine.

Sorry I’ll re phrase that both the long hoses rubbed and got holes in them. I think it’s because they are a soft material and the route they take when they flex they rub Pete replaced one of them ...
