Fair point. It's only a few pages in to the Gov.uk website that they start defining MAM.
So, Degraff are potentially placing customers open wrong side of the Law?

GVW for towing vehicle + MAM of trailer must be 3500kg or less. 2400+1200 = 3600 Crying or Very sad


That's assuming you've loaded the 90 to its maximum Gross weight though.
With a kerb weight of 1800 ...

Without a B+E your allowed to tow it behind a ford focus but put it behind a a 90ht with a kerb weight of 2.4 tonnes and it's illegal but obviously safer...

You're mixing up gross and kerb weig ...

Anyone know why they have modular steel wheels from new on western power trucks ???

Nothing to do with the actual wheels as such, but it's the cheapest, easiest way to swap to better tyres.
