I would choose the D250 just to settle with 18” wheels as standard, the D250 will be quick enough yet another pommie bar steward down under

Now the configurator doesn’t allow the 5+2 seats plus the Air Suspension for the D250 either !! That’s literally changed in the last few hours - I guess someone is monitoring this forum Wink

However, I have discovered that you CAN have the 2 together - but only if you buy the Towing Pack (to get the Air Suspension) which obviously costs a lot more money - very clever upselling technique Very Happy

I just text my salesman and as far as he’s aware it’s still an option and LR haven’t told them otherwise.

EDIT - just had a play on the configurator and yes adding air suspension now deletes the 5+2 seating. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

I’m convinced it’s to push people towards the 130. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Same in Japan.
You can't get the 5+2 with air suspension anymore on the D300 110 (that is the only diesel on offer here). Definitely to get people to move to that butt ugly 130. 22MY Defender 110 D300 S in Pangea Green and Contrast White Roof

Typical LR, thinking out of their Harris.. we see a number of enquiries on FB owners groups
where perspective owners are looking at the 5+2 seater with air as you get more rear axle load
for towing.. so less about loading people, more about keeping the vehicle within LR weight limits,

Weird.

When MY23.5 replaced the MY23 I was told I couldn't NOT have air with 7 seats. It was mandatory to have both.

I don't yet see 7 seats with air sus as standard in the configurator.

If you don't want to fork out fully on the towing pack, you can configure 7 seats and the advanced off-road pack which includes the air sus for £2.7k.

It's honestly the Censored way to do business. I look forward to when the class action lawsuit opens on this unfair practice of taking deposits, knowing they can't commit to the price or configuration.

Apparently for 24MY it’s now standard on 7 seaters.

EDIT - Select Family pack from the options list it adds air suspension and manual 3rd row seats.

Crazy. The Discovery 3 all those years ago was that you had air suspension with 7 seats and coils on the 5 seater. 2008 2.4 110 Utility Station Wagon XS.

That’s a shockingly expensive option. 2008 2.4 110 Utility Station Wagon XS.
