I’ve read before that some aftermarket engine mounts are very hard and also create vibration even if new. I can’t remember where I read it, but the strong advice was to go for original which have the right amount of give in them. If I can find the info I will post it…
Please let us know how you get on because I have this on my to do list! |

I found the article.. it’s about a series vehicle, but is saying get your parts from Land Rover if possible as even OEM labelled stuff may not be the right spec. He implies the Bearmach parts are good. Hope this helps!

This is very true for older mounts, up to 200tdi. I did order an aftermarket set, hard as rock for my 88 90. Ordered genuine, so pliable. What a difference. But how aftermarket Td5 and later mounts feel like I have no idea. Bit of a gamble. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |

I’ve ordered the Bearmach ones, they will arrive Monday. The Genuine LR mounts are out of stock at JLR Classics and I’ve asked to be notified when back in stock.
I do have one supplier who says his supplier has the “genuine” mounts in stock and he can order them. But this same supplier also sent me “genuine” drive flanges that arrived in a Br**part box. So yeah, it’s hard to know what you’re getting. I’ll let you guys know how it goes Roaming around 🇳🇴🇨🇠|
