Rear Brake Issue
Having a strange issue on the LS. Everything has been running find for 12months since the conversion which included new AP brakes all round. Recently the rear brakes have started to bind up after a short drive. We bled everything and it seemed to fix things but then after a few weeks with no driving the problem has returned... I have to spot driving and release the fluid pressure at the ABS module to get home. Has anyone any ideas what I should look at before I start to consider replacing parts....

Are the rear calliper pistons retracting OK?
Is there a bias valve in your upgraded setup? Could this have failed? 2014 Keswick Utility 2.2

I had a similar thing some years back when changing around master cylinders and the vacuum unit.

When you remove the vacuum bit off of the master cyl, there is a push rod type thing that operates off the back of the master cyl. this rod is adjustable in length (threaded insert in it). it was a fine adjustment of not enough length (meaning the brake assist wasn't that good) or too much resulting in the brakes dragging a bit, and after a couple of dozen miles, getting so hot they dragged the vehicle to a halt.

Worth a check. It's easy to do, no need to break into the fluid system. Just undo the 2 nuts that hold the master cyl in place and gently pull it away.
