Have you got a uprated intercooler fitted already and freeflow exhaust?

Stages have always baffled me. Its pretty meaningless.

You should decide what you want from your car then have it mapped accordingly. It should be mapped to accommodate the mods you have in place along with your driving style.

Youll have more torque with an intercooler. Slight improvement with a good exhaust set up Instagram @defender_ventures

Paddy,

Would you be referring to Beyond Performance 4 x 4 by any chance?

Last year I treated my 2012 110 XS station wagon to a Performance package 2 - I was going to go for the package 3 but was told the exhaust added little in the away of performance. While it was in I had the Package 3 suspension upgrade with the Fox shocks. I do a lot of towing at 3.5 tonnes so had the remap done to suit my requirements. The difference is night and day. I had an issue some time after the remap with limp home mode so Beyond had a look and it turned out to be an EGR problem - no problems since. They are a great business to deal with. Something I found to compliment the remap was fitting a Slickshift. Really helps with gear changes. The Defender is the one on the left.

I guess I have what you’d class as alive stage 4?

Every bit is a little step, although I had mine turned down again after head issues… it was fine for 30k miles but I have other things to go fast in.

I personally like the exhaust just for the noise. And it’s stainless, who doesn’t like stainless ?

Spare wheel is on a carrier fitted to the rear of the vehicle and swings away with the door.

Apologies - missed the joke!! Rims are Terrafirma TF 100 - supplied by Beyond 4 x 4. Looked for a long time and seen them on a 110 on this forum. I think they sit well on the 110 - added advantage of filling the arches when viewed head on. Let us know how the remap goes.
