Well one Petrol station, that i clocked before, One i mentioned in my 1st post, is 1.49 now, so i am suspecting that will be the 1st to go 1.50 marker now. I have noticed its slowed down now with the price ramping. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

In our local town Shell diesel is 1p cheaper per Litre than the diesel at Asda.
How does this begin to work? Jim |

Is this a way to force people into emissions free vehicles - price the polluting fuels to the extent only the the oil company’s execs and Boris’s friends can afford it? The higher the price goes though the higher the Chancellors tax take is ………….. so he shouldn’t need to hike tax on other things…… I know, it doesn’t work like that. Here at the moment prices have stopped at the 1.48 / 1.49 marker. its gone up 2p since i last filled the car up. it was 1.46 and before that it was 1.43. I cannot see this dropping back to the 1.20s now at all. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |

Where are you paying that? On the motorway? Fuel up here is about 1.42 for unleaded and 1.46 for diesel tat he branded stations. A bit cheaper in the supermarkets. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

You do have to feel for these fossil fuel companies, EV’s are hitting their market (albeit slowly) so they need to get the same profit and more from fewer mugs like us Ride like you stole it!!
