France 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 DCPU Corris Grey
^^^ Or perhaps it’s less about about who crashes more often, and more about what those items you’ve listed are worth to the breakers yard. Given some stock items (e.g. 16” steel wheels) cost almost nothing new, you’re not going to spend an age and valuable time as a breaker sticking 2nd hand parts worth a fiver on line. But A/M parts such as those you mentioned, could sell very well and attract buyers away from flea-bay or even new from a specialist so worth listing. Monsieur Le Grenadier

I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....

Find a garage that have some welding skills, a flexible exhaust joint, and it can be done.

Although not on a Defender, I replaced the one on my Golf... since I have the welding equipment it only cost me €10 for the flexible joint and about 1hr work (need to get the front part of the exhaust out to weld around).

You do not need a flexible joint of the exact same length... just cut the exhaust pipe accordingly. But diameter wise should be exact.

This! Just look for a custom exhaust specialist. They will be able to sort it for not a lot of cash in comparison to a full section.
