This why I think mine needs a new connectivity module and could be the reason I’m still getting 2wd warnings, there’s a chance the car hasn’t taken the update. I’m clutching at straws, very big straws

I wish they had a release calendar and all updates happened together however it seems vehicle specific. Mine happened within 6 weeks of buying it so hang on tight. Just confirm you are able to connect to the vehicle SIM or your Wifi in short you have internet to download.

Don’t forget that new build cars often leave the factory with updates that haven’t yet been released for over the air transmission. Factory gets the updated software before anyone else so that may be why a couple of months old car hasn’t received anything Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

Hi, I have a Def P400e (build date in 24 sept) with the online pack (wifi hotspot with eSIM - not Mico SIM).
Everything works great until last Monday suddenly my hotspot eSIM stop working. My dealer try to reset PiviPro (by put the car in P and pressing and keep pushing the PiviPro power button until the restart (about 10-15 sec..)). No way... The problem persist. So my dealer contact the national support and he made a firmware update…. So... Everything works great... And… voilà…. Now on my car the Apple CarPlay now is wifi!!!!!!!! Great news!!! Seems that my dealer has installed a beta version of the 2023 MY.. The good news is that WiFi Apple CarPlay will be activated on all Defender previous MY2023 😉 Unfortunately I can see the versione of firmware / software on my Pivi Pro because if I’m going on System Preference - software Update, there is written simply “no software update available”. so…. Keep check your sw update… maybe in a wild will be related an update 😉 |
