[Wanted] Defender Tweeters and single DIN headunit

On the off chance that anyone has these in their spare parts bin.

My Defender came without a radio or speakers - eventually I will upgrade the audio and do a double DIN conversion but in the meantime I would like to spend as little as possible on a radio. I have bought the speakers from a user here and I am hoping someone has a single DIN (ideally with USB/Bluetooth?) and the factory tweeters in their garage collecting dust?

Not sure if it’s of interest but there’s a factory Bluetooth head unit with tweeters, cage and a wiring harness on eBay at the moment.

I mention it as in addition to the bits you wanted it also has a pair of 4” speakers that i really want to buy, but the seller won’t split.

If you bought it, i’d gladly chip in £20 plus postage just for the 4” speakers if you’d fire them up to me.

It’s eBay item number eBay Item No. 154609890066 on for £40 (so £20 if I bought the speakers from you).

You’ll have to be quick in getting your bid in as it ends soon. Let me know if it’s of interest.

Hi Chris - its specifically the late/premium speakers I'm after (the ones with the dimple in the middle). The ebay auction has a pair of battered ones that would be ideal - would just need to track down two more of them. If you have ones like this I'd snap your hand off (sorry OP: don't want to hijack your thread here).

Back on topic OP re: your looking for a head unit. Thinking about it, I do have a single DIN head unit available: its an Alpine UTE-72BT with a loom and microphone. Its quite a nice thing, from the same period and a similar spec to the factory Alpine 133BT except its mechless (no CD player) which I really wanted when I bought it (I didn't want a CD player I'd never use).
