Like J77, I loved the look of the Tasman Blue, white roof and steelies, and ordered mine before Commercial Variants were announced. 90's were also not able to be ordered then. When picking up my 110 I was chatting about the 90's and Commercial Variant's pricing. Salesman was very sheepish, and basically said that they were only a few $k's less than the base 110's and once you take the basic car and add to it the creature comforts that most people will still spec (Air Suspension for example) that the price was as near as damn it the same. (he was actually embarrased to admit!) But this is Oz, UK pricing may differ and I am out of touch with the tax / allowances over there now. However you look at it, it's an expensive vehicle, but look at the (real) competitor's products, they are up there too. This may not help many of you (or any of you) but I found that the large company that I work for was on the list of JLR corporate partners, and after digging around got a great deal on my 110. Included was a small discount on the price, Free Carpet Mats (good ones) 5 yrs free corporate servicing (which actually probably accounts for one, or possibly two oil changes in reality!) plus 5 yrs free roadside assistance. Finding the list was far from intuative but it exists in the JLR website and anyone working an organisation on that list might just benefit. I thought I had saved a copy, but can't find it at the moment. Will dig it out and try to link somehow. And in case anyone is wondering, it made absolutely no difference to timing of the build slot. Oh and I bought it personally, too... and as long as I could prove employment got the benefits. But they don't advertise this scheme widely for obvious reasons ! Click image to enlarge Oldmowgli |

Update on my last post - I have located the corporate Scheme info and list, but have discovered that it is particular to Australia. I looked at the same area on the UK LR website and it is structured differently, so this scheme seems to be country specific (I have not looked any wider). But in case there are some more potential Aussie buyers who might benefit, here are the screenshots to locate the info:

If anybody is actually going to use one as a commercial then sign writing is going to be a challenge with that ladder. Darren

It’s just JLRs laziness to apply a graphic to the side. It can still be read.

Noticed build didn't allow for a full white hardtop.....the side panels are white for blue but have to be black for a white paint job.....love to know why

Side panels are only white on the blue because the white roof is specified or they would be black, but they should still allow the side panels to be specified as an option on white models. A wrap would do the same job I suppose. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Looking good.
I do like those alloys, it was a toss up between those and the steels, both a no cost option on S spec models. The 90HT seems to be proving popular, haven’t seen many 110HTs. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue |
