Removable Steering Wheel options
Looking to replace my Steering Wheel with the Startech one and also looking at a removable boss and ditching the Disklok that is a real pain to use.

I have searched but dont see anything that compares different manufacturers - probably user error

I am looking at the Optimill as a strong contender.

I would appreciate peoples views before I push the button

There are other options for the removable boss part, some good, but I would argue nothing better than Optimill.

Optimill is the only manufacturer to offer a lock to fit the boss when the wheel is removed, a simple but effective device to thwart the villains who bring their own wheel.

+1 for the Optimill kit.
I have the boss and lock and it does appear to be extremely well made, a good visual deterrent and certainly looks like it would be very difficult to bypass. Not cheap though but then neither is having your car nicked. I managed to pick up the whole setup, including wheel, secondhand on ebay last year.

Removable bosses designed for motorsport like OMP, Go Race, B.G, Momo etc are much nicer to use and feel better engineered but AFAIK Optimill are the only company which has a lock. WARNING.
